Greetings from Hacienda Hills Country Club!

As you find yourself in one of the best times of the year to experience all The Villages has to offer, there’s no better place to be than on one of our beautiful golf courses. And speaking of beautiful courses, I hope you make time in your busy schedule to visit Hacienda Hills where you will experience some of the best golf holes in The Villages. From our more visually open Palms nine with its rolling topography to our more challenging Lakes and Oaks nines lined with mature oak trees. Any of our championship course selections are sure to not disappoint.

As a new or returning resident you may notice some significant changes when arriving on property.  The former clubhouse and amenities are no longer in service as plans are in place to revitalize the county club property. Included in this exciting project will be a residential housing apartment complex with outstanding golf course views along with a new dining and bar establishment, resort style pool and much more to be announced.  All golfer check in will now take place at the Lakes/Oaks Starter building or in the newly renovated office located at the golf cart facility.  Estimated completion is a few years away but expect to see some great things to come as only The Villages can deliver.

Lastly, I would like to remind everyone when playing a course in The Villages to please practice “Good Golf” by avoiding high traffic areas when entering and exiting fairways, and when approaching bunker and green complexes in your golf cart (Ex. Please keep all four tires on path when parking at tees and greens). We also need everyone’s help repairing their ball marks and preferably one other as well; please fill your divots and rake the bunkers when exiting.

For our players who require special golf course access assistance please make sure to maintain a distance of at least 30 feet from all greens complexes at all times. You can review all the details on our new 2022 COURSE ACCESS PROGRAM at www.golfthevillages.com or by inquiring at the golf administration office in Lake Sumter Landing.  By practicing “Good Golf” you can greatly assist us in keeping the courses in great condition!
